 This Website www.maronite-heritage.com was created by Fr. Antonio Elfeghali, a Maronite priest and a religious member of the  Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (OMM) on April 26, 2004. 
 

 Biography
 Fr. Antonio Elfeghali was born in Beirut, Lebanon on the 5th of November 1972. He received his call to follow Christ in 1993. He entered religious life at the monastery of St. Segius & Bakhos, that belongs
 to the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary (OMM) in August 1993. On September 30, 1995,  Fr. Elfeghali professed his religious vows. He was then transferred to the Monastery of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Shaile-Kesrwan, Lebanon, (this monastery belongs to the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary OMM) where he studied and received a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Spirit in Kaslik. Finally, he was sent to the Monastery of St. Antonius the Great, Rome, Italy (This monastery also belongs to the Maronite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary OMM) in August 1997 where he studied and received a Bachelor’s degree, in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Angelicum, in Rome, Italy and remained there until he became a Maronite Priest in Lebanon in 2001.
 Fr. Antonio Elfeghali was ordained in the Maronite Catholic Church on August 11, 2001 in Feitroun-Lebanon. Since that date he has performed additional religious duties within and for the Church such as celebrating Liturgies, hearing Confessions and ministering the Sacraments of Eucharist, Baptism, Confirmation, and Unction of the Sick. Fr. Antonio came into Ann Arbor-USA in October 2001. Since November 2001 the Maronite priest has been a Catholic Chaplain under the auspices of the Ave Maria Foundation in Ann Arbor -Michigan-USA; and he has also been an Assistant Pastor at St. Sharbel Catholic Maronite Church in Warren, Michigan-USA since January 2002. In addition  Fr. Antonio Elfeghali has
 been the Catholic Sacramental Chaplain of the Washtenaw County Jail in Ypsilanti (a small town close to Ann Arbor), Michigan-USA since July 2002. In September 2004, the State of Michigan gave him the outreach volunteer status, which makes him able to visit any prison in Michigan.
 After 4 years of ministry in the USA, Fr. Antonio received a new assignment, on August 19, 2005, this time in Lebanon.
 He left the US on September 19, 2005 and began his service in Deir El Kamar. He spent 6 years in Deir El Kamar building the lamb of God Shrine (Mazar Hamal Allah) and restoring the Church of Abouna Yaacoub. 
On September 15, 2011, Fr. Antonio received another assignement to Uruguay.
