Memorial of the Lebanese bishops Tyran and Silwan and the priest Zeinob and their companions, who were martyred in Tyr.

The Roman Synksar mentions in February 20th the following: “From Phoenicia, Lebanon; the memorial of the blessed martyrs which were martyred under king Dioclatian, after an order of his commander Fitorios. They were killed one after another, put to various numerous punishments. First they were scourged brutally until their flesh was torn apart; then they were thrown to hungry beast, but God saved them from the beasts. Then they were put to pain with fire and steel until they died gaining the holy crown of martyrdom in the year 304. May their prayers be with us. Amen.
